Findynate is a magnificent mansion house located on Findynate Estate in the heart of Perthshire on the banks of the river Tay.
Within the house are four reception rooms, kitchen and domestic offices, ten bedrooms, four bathrooms, a traditional coach house, walled garden and arboretum..
WiFi For Findynate
Premitel were asked to provide a solution for providing WiFi coverage throughout Findynate for both staff and guests.
Due to decorative and aesthetic concerns, it wasn’t possible to install cabling for ceiling and wall mounted wireless access points in most of the house.
Multiple Access Points
Fortunately there was an existing Cat5e structure cabling system with spare sockets throughout the house.
This enabled us to provide approximately 80% coverage using 5 x Ubiquiti UniFi In Wall wireless access points which connected neatly to existing Cat5e network sockets.
In the offices and the new kitchen we installed cabling for a further 2 x ceiling mounted UniFi wireless access points.
To fill in the coverage gaps in the main house we used Devolo powerline wireless adaptors
