The Grandstream HT801 is a gateway device that enables standard analogue telephones and wiring to be used for making calls over internet connections such as fibre-to-the-premise broadband where a traditional landline is not required.
The HT801 connects to the ethernet port of a router or network switch and has an analogue phone port to which an analogue phone can be connected using the supplied adaptor.
Alternatively, the analogue phone port of the Grandstream HT801 can be connected to a master socket using the supplied cable. This enables analogue phones that use existing sockets and wiring to be connected to the HT801.
The Grandstream HT801 is supplied configured and ready to connect to Premitel’s home phone service on a month’s free trial.
The HT101 is supplied with a UK mains power supply adaptor together with all the cables and adaptors that may be needed to connect the Grandstream HT801 to a router, network switch, telephone equipment or telephone socket.
There is a free trial of the Premitel home phone service for one month included with this product. During the trial there are 20 minutes of free calls included to UK landline and mobile numbers.
After the first month the Premitel home phone service is available for £3.00 per month with inclusive calls to all UK landline and mobile numbers and no charge for incoming calls.
The service also includes a new phone number or the transfer of an existing phone number at no extra cost. The process of transferring an existing number would take place after the free-trial.
To continue with the Premitel Home Phone Service after the trial you would need to contact Premitel to make payment arrangements. Otherwise, just do nothing and connect the phone to the service of your choice.

The Grandstream HT801 has a warranty that expires 12 months from the purchase data.
During that period the HT801 will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
The customer will be responsible for any carriage charges associated with returning the phone to Premitel.
Faulty or unwanted phones can be returned for refund or replacement (at customer’s choice) up to 30 days after purchase date. Unwanted phones must be returned as new with all packaging.
